As a writer, he wrote his first book of poems and his first song when he was ten years old (“Pássaro De Fogo”).
At age 15, he was awarded at the 1st National Competition Fritz Teixeira Salles de Poesia with the theme “Poemia”, receiving an honorable distinction.
At the moment, Nil Lus is preparing his next literary work: volume I of a tetralogy - an esoteric triller that will also be accompanied with an original instrumental soundtrack, expected for release in late 2021.

My simple tribute to a friend since the 90s when we met for the first time in Portugal near the Tagus River at a Literature Festival and Colloquium in Lisbon: the great lady of Brazilian literature Lygia Fagundes Telles. One of the most notable personalities of Lusophone culture. Giant and glorious, gentle and genial, a portrait of many generations. Follow in the light! LYGIA'S CHEST Lyrics and music: Nil Lus * “Verse by Lygia Fagundes Telles”* *“Oh if I could get all dressed up inside Everything goes in the drawers”* without haste and without fear Fix things, scratch the fate, dye your hair And then sweep the autumn leaves of time from the ground

In my trunk I still keep loves, a thousand secrets Deep inside it is lined with a mirror Where innocent I still live and see myself Running the fields between games and toys I smile with tears in my eyes and I still remember I reread love letters that left in dismay Even if I dreamed one day in another way Are now old desires all outside of myself An old dress, a doll, a ring, a key ring Rags and books, portraits, maps, first drawings Everything is longing like a car with taillights My heart is a clock running backwards in my chest
